About

Once upon a time there was a simple artist, who lived in a small country town & she created her own Christmas cards for the dearest people that she loved most. Every year the list grew and friends would anxiously await to receive her new design to add to their collection. As the years went by, the demand did so increase that the sales began! Thus, “Murdock Greeting Cards, Inc.,” (inspired by the artist’s beloved & loyal Scotland Collie, Murdock) was created in 1995.

Although it is a small and humble line, the story and charm behind each illustration of this original and unique line sells itself. Some say it’s because each design comes straight from the artist’s heart, feelings & love for all creatures and that the respect for nature’s gifts comes from within. The high contrast of this black & white media is beautifully illustrated in pen & ink or pencil & is available with pastels and starry night “magical pixie dust” glitter. Christmas and Holiday are predominantly the focus, but I am branching out to all occasions. NO ORDER IS TOO SMALL! Please feel free to contact us at anytime, as your e-mail, phone call or letter is always welcome!

Sincerely, Kimberley J. Sedgwick

I shall post some simple pictures of my art production, hand glittering each card, matting and general artsy stuff

My very favorite time to color and glitter my printed cards….in the wee hours of twilight morning, 5 a.m. when the earth is quiet and peaceful…and magical
