“Mystical Swans”

Beautiful, mystical swans & timberland creatures gaze in wonder over the brilliance of the heavenly star shining over the peaceful, wintry lands. The swan is one of the most powerful & ancient totems – one of the most mysterious &majestic of birds in creation. They hold mythical powers of peace and tranquility. Legends, tales & arcane lore flow not only from England & Ireland- but also the Native American peoples – the most sacred mysteries of their religion in which the swan acts as a messenger of faith. Swans are present in many fairy tales symbolizing royalty, artistry, strength, fidelity, loyalty & a traditional symbol of beauty & grace. She is renowned for her elegance, is a proud mother & a lifelong mate for life. Some have heard swans sing a sweet & beautiful song when people pass from this earthly veil -(unusual for they rarely sing). They soar along side the Angels, guiding beloved souls on their magical, celestial journey back home to Heaven. The swan is listed in the 12 days of Christmas gifts “ Seven Swans Swimming” representing the 7 gifts of the holy spirit, Romans 12: 6-8 & one of the best-known fairy tales is that of “The Ugly Duckling” in which, a cygnet is teased & bullied for being so ugly compared to the pretty yellow ducklings. But at long last, grows up to be one of the most beautiful of all of God’s creations! Psalms 104
