This pencil drawing comes straight from the heart of the artist who delicately depicts her own, beloved, aging dog sleeping on the couch. As her faithful friend slept, the artist quietly sketched her & tried to imagine & capture what she could possibly be dreaming about…what else – but when she was young. Dedicated to my “Bessie”, Sept. 1982-Dec. 1998, and of course, all old, faithful dogs everywhere. They will always be walking beside us.
