“Zinnias”

The Zinnia is a special flower, as it holds many, mystical meanings
behind its beauty. Zinnias enjoy a long-lasting friendly status throughout history and to the present day, invoking thoughts and longings for absent friends, goodness, affection, remembrance, and constancy.

Their colorful floral displays were also thought to entice magical fairies into the gardens.
Zinnias also make great companions with members of the Solanaceae family providing nectar for beneficial insects and assists Monarchs along their long migration, as they bloom all summer long. Photographed at the Picket Fence Farm
